The Summer of 2013 brought the debut of the hugely popular TV Series, “Swamp Murders”, on Investigation Discovery (2013-2017). Steve was privileged to be the show's Narrator for its entire 5-year run; a character best described as a hybrid of Mark Twain, Mike Franks and Beetlejuice.

Steve's Story

Steve is a professional actor and sound designer with nearly 40 years’ experience in New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta and elsewhere. For 5 seasons, he was the voice of the Narrator on the Investigation Discovery series, Swamp Murders. He’s appeared Off-Broadway in New York with the late, great Esther Rolle in The Member of the Wedding, with Helen Mirren at the Tiffany Theatre in Los Angeles in Woman in Mind, and on television in the daytime drama Days of our Lives. His audiobook credits include six #1 Amazon Best-Sellers and other titles like The Geneva Audio BibleTom Sawyer: A One-Hour ClassicA Christmas CarolRowdy Raccoon and the Turtle Who Wanted to FlyDanger at Wolf Rock, Plop! Goes the Blue Swirl Ice Cream, and Gift of the Magi. He also toured the live one-man tribute show, Lewis Grizzard: In His Own Words, for several years. When he’s not working, he enjoys hanging out with his family as much as possible.

In 2006, Steve suspended his successful stage, screen and radio career to stay home and raise his family. He started Audio Oven from his state-of-the-art home studio with a mission to create consistently brilliant audio products that grow his clients' businesses. To do that, he believes he must be more than just a "hired hand" in a studio or a voice talent 1000 miles away. He must be a trusted advisor, a personal team member, with a keen interest in his clients' success, whom they can rely on for all their performance talent needs. He is quite literally the "total package", immediately available to his clients at all times with expertise and contacts in all major areas: acting, production, directing, editing and marketing.
